Economy and Industry launches joint ventures to promote competitiveness and internationalisation

It is earmarking 500,000 euros to encourage the staging of events to promote innovation and competitiveness tools

The Regional Ministry of Economy and Industry, through the Galician economic development institute (Instituto Galego de Promoción Económica,Igape), is earmarking 500,000 euros to encourage the staging of events to promote innovation and competitiveness tools, to organise meetings between entrepreneurs and business angels and to organise international fairs and shows in Galicia.

The announcement of this grant, which is targeted at business organisations and entrepreneur focused intermediate bodies and which complies with the regulations governing Igape grants for joint ventures, has  been published in the Official Gazette of the Galician Regional Parliament (DOG); the deadline for receiving applications competing for the grant available, is 24 August 2009.
